CORPORATE PROFILE

Federal Power Sdn Bhd  was incorporated in 1974 as a joint venture company by Tenaga Nasional Bhd ( then Lembaga Lektrik Negara), FCW Industries Sdn Bhd ( then Federal Cables Wires & Metal Manufacturing Bhd)  and Fujikura Ltd of Japan. 

From 1983 till April 2007, the company was under the majority of Permodalan Nasional Bhd.   In April 2007 major equities were bought over by the corporate leader  YBhg Dato' Dr Abdul Razak Bin Abdul.

Being a pioneer in cables industry in Malaysia, Federal Power produces a wide range of power cables and conductors for electrical transmission and distribution. Major products include cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) cables up to 275kv, aerial bundle cables (ALMOE) and conductors.

In the quest of total quality, the company was certified with ISO 9001:2000 certification, and meets the international standards of British Standards (BS), International Electro-technical Committee (IEC) and Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS).
